About GradeView LLC

GradeView LLC is a for-profit limited liability company registered in the State of Texas. It builds and operates GradeView, the iOS app that puts official university grade distributions in students’ hands, and it operates this website at gradeview.app.

What we do

Students make one of the most consequential decisions of their academic year — which sections to register for — with almost no real information. Universities hold the answer in their own grade records, and we get those records and put them in an app that takes seconds to use.

GradeView today holds official grade records from 125 schools across 31 states, more than 13.6 million records in total, and we add institutions every month. Details on the coverage page.

How we make money

GradeView is a commercial product. The app is free to download and includes three free searches every 30 days; unlimited searching is a paid subscription, and those subscriptions are our revenue. We do not sell the underlying records, run ads, or take money from any university to show or hide anything.

GradeView LLC is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any university.
